What is Vietnamese coffee culture? For Marissa, the founder of Vo Coffee Co., it’s sitting in a cafe in the hustle and bustle of Saigon, patiently waiting for her cà phê to finish dripping from the traditional phin filter. It’s the uncles and aunties conversing on colourful plastic stools, the faint hint of cigarette smoke in the morning air, watching mopeds scoot by. Our goal was to create a vibrant brand identity that highlights traditional elements in a modern manner. Through playful illustrations and a bold brand style, we designed a unique identity that brings the flavours of Vietnam to Minneapolis.
